The BSI incoming shipments module provides an interface for you to receive specimens and verify their condition and contents before adding them to your database. Specimen acquisition has never been easier! The module allows you to import a packing list and then scan the specimens against that list. The module also allows documentation of any discrepancies that exist between the physical shipment and the electronic packing list.

The incoming shipments editor allows the user to access both the imported packing list and the observed data values simultaneously. While importing the packing list data, the user can employ the standard BSI features for data importation and translation. In addition, data entry templates are available to provide default and calculated data.

BSI provides discrepancy management and tracking unparalleled in the industry. This interface gives you the ability to track and resolve discrepancies on individual fields as well as whole shipments. You can note what the discrepancy was, who resolved it, what the resolution was, and when it was completed. Additionally, you may search and report on discrepant data through standard reports or reports embedded in the incoming shipments editor.
